A saponin-based wetting agent used in small drops in irrigation water to spread moisture evenly into crusty or hydrophobic soil surfaces.
Jeremy adds a few drops to his Chapin sprayer — he says it makes the surface look soapy and white as the saponin spreads the water and stops it running straight through.
